Macdonald high school

Short Story Contest

Seven day deadline. Three prompts. One winner.

The Macdonald High School Short Story Contest pushed students to their creative limits!

By entering the contest, students were assigned three random prompts: a genre, a subject, and a character. These three all had to be integrated seamlessly into a short story of a maximum of 1000 words. To make it even tougher, students only had seven days to write, edit, and submit their final draft.

After three grueling rounds, three winners

were picked! Below you'll find the winning

short stories by our incredible students!
